This guzheng is crafted by the renowned Japanese instrument maker Mitsuya Koto, known for their expertise in creating larger kotos. The family has a long tradition of producing string zithers, including the famous 80-string koto for Michio Miyagi in 1929. The design for this guzheng is provided by Zheng Art of Hong Kong.

The N401 "Jade Golden Flower" model is carved from a top-grade 40-year-old Japanese paulownia tree, air-dried for 5 years. The body is seamlessly connected to the bottom board, and the back of the soundboard features hand-carved "V" shape sound grooves (ayasugi), which ensure even sound distribution. The frame is adorned with Bossé wood, enriching the tone.

This guzheng is equipped with Dunhuang professional B strings and Xuanguang Aged Rosewood (Thai Rosewood) bridges, delivering a full, rich sound. The bass is exceptionally deep, while the highs are bright and sweet with a long ring. The transitions across the strings are even and solid, providing the best sound quality among guzhengs.

All the bridges and strings are fine-tuned and adjusted to ensure the best sound quality.

顶级40年级别日本桐木

日本桐木长于寒带，生长速度比一般东南亚地区的树木慢，是故日本桐木的年轮会较细密，用于制箏，其声层次分明，朴实圆润，是每一台炫光箏得天独厚的优势。

桐木的木纹更为每一台炫光箏注入灵魂，年轮周而复始地见证树木成长，纹理伴随着树龄变得更为独特，赋予每一台炫光箏也独一无二的生命。

选用四十年顶级日本桐木是炫光箏的高阶配置，由于寒带桐木生长缓慢，树龄至少具备四十年的桐木，才是成熟用于制箏的时机。

四十年顶级日本桐木位于木身的最外围，经过日积月累的洗涤，尽是岁月的痕迹，亦是木身当中密度最高及最细致的部分，混然天成的水波纹、迴山纹使箏音的穿透力及细致度更上一层楼，撼动人心。

琴头

琴头选用科特迪瓦黑驼峰栋及夏威夷相思木

琴头岳山

岳山选用整条的印度紫檀，经工匠反复调整弧度入榫装嵌，升华箏音的传导。

3D入榫制边能令琴身更见立体，别具一格，但制作过程亦相当考究。制作期间需要反复打磨，务求达到光滑明亮，入榫时亦要不留空隙，避免影响箏音传导。此手工工艺的最高境界是追求形神美的同时却讲究不留痕迹，这亦是炫光箏的标志之一，难以复制其形神美。

琴尾选用科特迪瓦黑驼峰栋及夏威夷相思木

箏炫箏码 (高级老红木)

箏炫箏码选料用上原条高级老红木，由箏码制作师根据琴身的体态以人手打磨而成。高级老红木制成的箏码手工精细，顺应木纹一气呵成逐颗打造，大大提高箏码的稳定度及统一性，使箏音徐疾有致，层层推进。

箏炫箏码耐用度高，反复弹奏间也不易磨损，强化箏音的稳定度，弹奏时不会走码。

如此讲究的选料及繁复的制作过程意味着箏炫箏码的制作成本比普通箏码高出数倍，但为求将箏音升华，我们从不吝啬，不惜工本。

内部结构 (单层三角雕刻)

琴身内部采用三角雕刻，此设计经过严密计算而成。琴身内部是曲面，在这种情况下处理三角雕刻需要兼顾琴身的弧度，亦要考虑弹奏时的箏音传导，务求令箏音更有层次感。三角雕刻的古箏余音比起纯直纹设计的结构更悠长细腻，缭绕四周。

底板出音孔亦以紫檀木包边，使音色更见圆润厚实，不致散乱。
