The "Cresting Waves" is Songbo's top-of-the-line flagship model, 100% handmade by the well-respected Taiwanese maker Cai Yuanhong.
Master Cai's guzhengs are known for their brilliant and sweet high notes, clean middle range, and full deep bass. The sound is even and balanced, with long-lasting string rings. Each tone bar underneath the soundboard is carefully carved out to perfect the instrument's sound.
This instrument features an elite grade single-piece paulownia soundboard and backboard with a Bois de Rose zitan frame, decorated with natural Japanese lacquer. Master Cai, with 40 years of experience as both a guzheng maker and player, knows the ideal tone guzheng players seek.
This model is hand-selected by our professional at the Songbo factory. All the bridges and strings are fine-tuned and adjusted to ensure the best sound quality.
The model comes with a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer. It includes a 2-piece stand, finger picks, soft case, guzheng chromatic tuner, and 1-7 spare strings.
