This guzheng uses the finest soundboard and the best frame materials, resulting in a dream-like sound. It is an Elite model from the Dunhuang factory, brought back directly from the Music China Show—the largest musical instrument show of the year where factories present their best instruments. This model was the spotlight of the Dunhuang booth. The sound is sweet, rich, warm, and resonant. The soundboards are air-dried and lightly roasted to enhance their sweetness, offering a warm and sweet tone with strong dynamics.
The frame wood is Bois de Rose, often considered the most beautiful of all exotic woods. It is decorated with a simple and elegant design called "Auspicious Clouds and the Cranes." The patterns are painted with layers of natural lacquers by Shanghai artist Weng Jijun. The craftsmanship of this guzheng is breathtaking.
