This beautiful brand new instrument is made with professional-grade paulownia soundboards. The top and bottom soundboards are both made from a single piece of paulownia, dried using a special Shanghai method that provides the famous classical sweet tone of the guzheng. The frame is made of Bubinga wood with carvings in the plum blossom design. This is Dunhuang's limited edition model, known for its very full and rich sound with the traditional sweet character. The bridges are professional-grade rosewood.
