This beautiful brand new instrument is made with professional-grade paulownia soundboards. The top and bottom soundboards are both made from paulownia that has been dried using a special Shanghai method, providing the famous classical sweet tone of the guzheng. The frame is made of Bubinga wood with carvings of the famous Duo Crane Facing the Sun design. It is Dunhuang's signature professional model, known for its very full and rich sound with a traditional sweet character. The bridges are professional-grade rosewood.
