This beautiful instrument, "The Drunken Beauty," is handmade by Master Zhang Bing, the senior maker from the Scarlet Bird (Zhuque) Factory. It is crafted from paulownia wood that has been naturally air-dried for a minimum of ten years and framed with aged Thai Rosewood. The sound is perfect in every range, with a clean, sweet, and solid tone across the strings, retaining Scarlet Bird's famous warm and deep voice.
The guzheng is beautifully hand-decorated with a Cloisonné pattern in "The Drunken Beauty" design, making it a true work of art.
