This beautiful instrument Model #11A is made with paulownia wood thats natural air-dried for at least 3 years . #11A is latest model from Scarlet Bird that's made to be a perfect overall guzheng. The body is made slimmer to bring a balance and even tone. The sound is perfect is each range, and yet, it's clean, clear and solid across the strings.
Nevertheless, it retains the Scarlet Bird's famous warm and deep voice. Compare with #10 series, the #11A doesn't sound as loud and bassy, but the range is more balanced.
